About the Section
The Section of Clinical Pharmacy is a part of the Czech Pharmaceutical Society and associates 380 pharmacists (the number from the year 2005).
Activity aims are:
- to support such access to pharmaceutical knowledge about drugs that leads to rational (effectual and effective) therapy selection for patients,
- to strengthen the therapeutic relationship between the physicians and patients,
- To create a professional atmosphere for exchange of experience about pharmacotherapy between various health care professions and incorporate this experience into the principles of pharmaceutical health care,
- to support the critical analysis of drug information and the application of these results of pharmaco-epidemiological and pharmaco-economical research to practice
We invite the participation of all members, or sympathizers, but especially those who would like to take part in our activities. Please address your proposals for cooperation and suggestions for activities to the committee members.
